Privacy Policy

Effective August 28, 2026

Adaptive Intelligence LLC ("Adaptive Intelligence," "we," "us") builds vision systems and the software around them. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

It covers this website and every mobile, desktop, and web application we publish under the Adaptive Intelligence name, including apps distributed through the Apple App Store and apps that connect to third-party platforms on your behalf. Individual apps use different subsets of what is described here — an app collects only the categories its features actually require, and each app store listing carries its own privacy disclosure for that specific app.

The short version

  • We collect the minimum an app needs to do its job.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We do not run third-party ad networks or advertising trackers in our apps.
  • You can ask us to delete your data, and we will.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories, each only where an app or the website actually uses it.

Information you give us

  • Contact details. Your name, email address, company, and whatever you write when you email us, submit a form on this site, or contact support from inside an app.
  • Account information. If an app has accounts, we store the identifiers needed to sign you in — typically an email address and a hashed credential, or an identifier supplied by a sign-in provider such as Sign in with Apple.
  • Connected third-party accounts. If you choose to connect an app to an outside platform, we store the access tokens and account identifiers that connection requires, plus the specific data you authorize the app to read or write on that platform. See Third-party platforms below.
  • Photos, images, and camera input. Apps with vision features process images you upload or capture. Where an app supports it, images may be stored so results persist between sessions; otherwise they are processed and discarded.
  • Content you submit. Files, notes, labels, settings, and other material you enter into an app.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and diagnostic data. Feature usage, error and crash reports, performance timings, and app version. Used to fix defects and decide what to build next.
  • Device and technical data. Device model, operating system version, language, approximate region derived from IP address, and — for the website — standard server log data such as IP address, request time, referring page, and user agent.

What we do not collect

  • Precise location, unless an app states plainly that a feature needs it and you grant the permission. You can revoke it in your device settings at any time.
  • Contacts, health, financial account, or biometric identification data.
  • Personal information bought about you from data brokers.

How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the website and our apps.
  • To run the features you ask for — including processing images you submit to a vision feature and reading or writing data on a platform you have connected.
  • To respond to your messages and provide support.
  • To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve reliability and performance.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Machine learning and model training

Some of our apps use machine learning models to interpret images and other input. Content you submit is used to produce results for you. We do not use customer content to train models that are shared across customers, and we do not sell or license customer content to third parties for model training, unless you have explicitly asked us to in a written agreement or an in-app opt-in.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Vendors that operate infrastructure on our behalf — hosting, storage, error monitoring, and email delivery — process data under contract, only to provide those services to us.
  • Platforms you connect. When you link an app to an outside platform, data moves between that platform and the app as the connection requires.
  • App distribution platforms. Operators of app stores receive purchase, download, and aggregate analytics data under their own privacy policies.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of our users.
  • Business transfer. If the business or a product line is sold or merged, data may transfer as part of that transaction. You will be notified before your data becomes subject to a materially different policy.

Third-party platforms

Some apps connect, at your direction, to accounts you hold on outside platforms. When you authorize such a connection:

  • We request the narrowest permissions the feature needs.
  • We use the resulting access only to perform the actions you ask for in the app.
  • We store access tokens encrypted, and delete them when you disconnect the account or delete your app account.
  • The platform's own privacy policy and terms govern what that platform does with your data on its side.

You can revoke a connection at any time from inside the app, or from the connected platform's own account settings.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for:

  • Account data — while your account is active, and up to 30 days after you delete it, to allow for accidental deletion recovery.
  • Content and images — until you delete them, or until your account is deleted.
  • Support correspondence — up to 3 years, so we can pick up prior conversations.
  • Diagnostic and server logs — typically up to 90 days.

We keep information longer only where a law, an unresolved dispute, or a security investigation requires it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect personal information: encryption in transit, encryption at rest for stored credentials and tokens, access limited to people who need it, and prompt patching of the systems we run. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete your account and the personal information associated with it.
  • Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting processing already done.

To exercise any of these, email mike@adaptiveintelligencellc.com. We respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Account and data deletion. Where an app has accounts, you can delete your account from within the app's settings. You may also request deletion by emailing us from the address on the account; we delete the account and its associated personal information within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

EEA and UK users. Our legal bases for processing are: performance of a contract (providing the app you asked for), legitimate interests (security, debugging, and improving our products), consent (optional device permissions and any opt-in feature), and legal obligation. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California users. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, including with respect to anyone under 16. You have the rights described above, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.

Children

Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you use our website or apps from outside the United States, you are transferring information to a country whose data protection laws may differ from your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products change. The effective date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision. For material changes, we will provide notice in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
